| | New Domain-based blocklists available MailPoliceTM has made available 4 additional domain-based lists, which can be used for blocking or tagging spam at the mail server level. One list focuses on fraud, or so-called "phishing" spam, which redirects users to websites asking credit card information for their bank account. Another list contains domain names of e-mail marketers, this includes legitimate and responsible e-marketing companies, and should only be used to block unwanted advertising. A third list contains reverse DNS hostnames of dynamic Internet connections, such as PPP and ADSL broadband connections, which should not be used to send legitimate e-mail. The fourth list contains domains of webmail services, again containing legitimate domain names, this should only be used for tagging purposes, or on a per-user basis. For usage instructions, please consult rhs.mailpolice.com. |
